My new hubs turned up today. Some NOS hope xc hubs, 32h. £80 posted which I thought was ok.

For N.O.S. that sounds like a great deal to me. They're a beautiful bit of kit, they'll look very trick when built up - especially with gold nipples .

Yeah I thought it was a bargain to & I can't believe I was the only bidder on them. Just abit gutted that one is discoloured. I can't wait to get them built up though.

This was waiting for me today. A NOS crud catcher DH fender. I've always loved these mud guards! Just need to find the matching down tube guard now.

I'm going to take my hubs to my lbs on Friday to get my wheels built up & I'm going to start to strip the ms isle. I'm in talks with 2 sellers about some junior t's & monster t's. As soon as I get the forks I'll get them stripped & get them & the frame painted.

I got some more bits through the post on Friday, Saturday & today. Been spending way to much this month, but I can't help myself lol!

So first up is a set of middleburn rs7 cranks for my pashley 26mhz. They are in good condition, but I'll be changing the bash ring to either red ano or blue. I can't believe how light they are!!!!

Saturday my new tyres came. A set of irc mudmad 2.25" folding tyres. These are in such good condition.

& today my shimano xt rear mech came.

I should Hopefuly get my wheels back from my LBS either tomorrow or Wednesday, can't wait to get them back & ride the orange impostor.

Well I got my wheels back on Saturday from my lbs. In the end I had to have new spokes because my old ones were 5mm to short, so I got dt Swiss black spokes, they look really good! Whilst at my lbs I bought a 160mm gold hope saw floating rotor for the rear. I'll upload pictures when it's the weekend.

Some new bits came today.

I messaged the guy about the seat clamp, but he wouldn't sell it. But!!!!!, I managed to find a nos one, so I quickly snapped it up.

It's been a while since I done a proper up-date on this thread. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Notice my new wheel combo.

The pics were taken after a lil 12 mile ride.

After a hose down, muc offed & rinsed again.

My nos hope seat clamp to match the skewers, yet to be fitted.

What do you all think?

So I've been buying more gold things :roll: , I bought a second hand old style gold hope head set.

Then i bought some fox monster gloves & fox monster shorts.

Bought a new hope drinks bottle, should of got 800ml though.........

Finally fitted my NOS older style hope quick release seat clamp.

& finally a pic of the bike in it's glory before i took her for a ride.

Little up-date on my MsIsle. After the new year i will send the frame back to orange to get a fresh powder coat ( neon ) & new decals. Then i will start building her up.
