my Cinelli Supercorsa, early 90s red

Retro Guru
I am the third custodian of this frameset. There's a bit of story behind, with the original owner at some point called back the second owner asking him to contact me in case I wanted to sell it back. I was more incline for a "reunion" with the two former owners, but sadly one passed away so this frame has got even more sentimental value now.

Can't call this build as "period correct" because the cranks, BB, headset are more late 90s and first years of the 2000s. But it does aesthetically match in most ways.
It's a great bike to ride, in fact I keep it with the 53/39 chainrings because it wants you to push hard and not taking it easy!
I have two sets of wheels, to add even more quality of its ride. Mid-profile with clinchers and 8sp cassette; or shallow rims with tubulars and 7sp freewheel.
Weights 8.5kg complete with pedals and with standard steel cassette.

Re:

Beautiful, I recall in the dim and distant, a photo in Cycling during the 80s of the boss of the company presenting Eric Clapton with the same colour frame, with Campag C record or Super Record groupset.
So you're in good company!

Amazing. Where is the picture taken? Could be anywhere I guess, but it certainly reminds me of the Amalfi coast area with Mt Vesuvius lurking in the background!
