My 99 Kona Muni-Mula

Well now descended on the weight saving route...

Picked up a Carbon USE Alien seat post, USE Carbon bars and swapped the Stouts for some Nobby Nic EVO's - the stouts weighed over 800gm each compared to 520 for the Stouts, reckon the weigh should be easily around the 24lb mark now if not lighter...

Pedals are on their way out as well, going to order the 985 trail XTR Spd's next.

Will up some new pics over the weekend.

Does kind of spoil the lines but as I'm pretty much the only hard tail out of all my mates I go riding with I needed to compromise to keep up with them on the descents...

But I do have a Carbon USE Alien to match the handlebars on standby..

Well.. the time has come...

Scratched the Aluminium itch and had a steel itch....

So... Don't hurt me too much but I've gone modern, managed to source a very good condition late 2009 On-One 456 with discs (did want an Explosif or similar retro steel but gave up looking for a nice one)

Which means that in the next few weeks I will have the following available...

18" Kona MuniMula frame as pictured..
Mavic Crossrides rim brake only as pictured...
M950 XTR V brakes F+R complete with noodles etc (no levers)

Will of course create a for sale thread once they are available but if anyone wants anything dibbed for the time being then let me know... ;)
