Just about finished my Zaskar build up so I thought I'd post a pic.
I bought it as a full bike on ebay, paid more than was sensible but I was half cut and got a bit giddy
. A couple of dents on the top tube, a mixture of LX and Sram kit and a pair of cheapo RST forks that were far too tall for it . I've been using it while getting the "right" bits together.
It's now got M739 shifters/brakes/mechs. M737 cassette and Mavic D521 CDs, Period Z2 Bombers, Race Face Turbines and rings and a shorty stem with riser bars. Hope to get out on it tomorrow if the rain lets up for an hour or two. Looks just about spot on to my eyes at least.
I bought most of the bits from the classifieds here so a big thanks to all of those people out there having clearouts
