My 91 GT Timberline....

Hi All,

Recently dragged my old GT out of the shed, not done much to it apart from air in the tyres and a bit of lube.

Here she is in all her 'glory'....

It is all original as far as I can tell and does not look too rough, just needs some general love and care that I will get round to once I have covered a few more miles.

Looks small? My first proper bike was a grey timberline 95 it got stolen a few years later will get one again one day when I can afford to spend money on one!

Hi Andy,

My Timberline was a Gumtree find. My first MTB was a Talera long ago, so it seemed like a good idea to pick up this Timberline, SS it and mess around with it a bit without being too picky - I can bodgily patch the front tyre sidewall without fear from the fashion police. It is fun bike to ride and I enjoy the differences between the old rigid MTB vs. nicer spec'ed HTs and duallies.

If it makes you smile then ride it.



I seem to be currently on the path of over spending and adding bits 'n pieces on it for no real good reason I can explain...
oh well..... must .. stop ... now .... there, I tried........ Noooo..... :facepalm:
