Musical instruments

It was SynthFest at the Octogon earlier this month.. by the time i read about it in the Guardian.. it'had been and gone

Just a bunch of middle aged blokes nerding out.. much like here
Yeah😂synth fest is kinda the same every year. I didn’t bother this year.

(Owned since 1982, cost £30)
Sold, £460.
That probably 2-3× return in real terms.
It was in a terrible state, but I'm still surprised it didn't get a bit more - I can't believe you'd seriously play a 50 year old British made(😉) bass on stage or record, but it's relic condition was outstanding!

Most of the lots though sold at the bottom of reserve, quite a few lots didn't sell so maybe the vintage guitar scene is suffering a downturn like bicycles
- (although surely it can't be that bad?)

I bought a Japanese PBass from 1984 from a charity shop. Won't say how much I paid but it was cheep! I've got an American PBass from the same era, but the Japanese one knocks out out of the park.

An accumulation of guitars over the years. In latter years I've got hooked by clawhammer banjo and treated myself to this pair with retirement/redundancy payout.

But this my baby - Mule Resophonic brass bodied single cone. If I can't take it with me when it's time to go, then I'm not going.
