I've been after one for years.. couldn't afford one when they were first released.... and now here it is.. not the top of the range but still a iconic (if flawed) design..

Sod it I'm happy.

Personally I think £460 is a good price for that bike, especially when you see common as muck (in comparison to the MF interactive) Fats or Kleins going for $2000

I always loved the looks of the bike and the engineering, no matter how flawed, was superb!
Don't flip the bike, just get out and enjoy!

Cheers guys..

he Klein was my first real attempt at building something special.. it's by far my favorite build to date.. does attract a whole lot of attention.

Love the feel of the GT on the rough stuff..

Gutted I don't have any photos of my old Fusion, like muddy fox they made a few seriously cool & expensive bikes the 0260 being one of them which I bought from 'on your bike' in brum years ago.. it was on the stand up with the top of the range of everything else.. it had the old browning fork, half cannondale headshock, half amp... nitrogen filled.. another one ahead of its time.. still have the working fork, sold the rest a good while ago.. looked ace and for the time handled amazingly..

Oh I remember the browning suspension. Came on a couple of Marins and Fusions and looked superb. Very like the Action Tec suspension except with a little linkage on the back to hold it in. There was a bike shop in East London I used to frequent that had a couple of the Fusions in boxes in the celler (and they did have a couple of NOS Kleins - but this was 10 or more years ago and they certainly don't now!)

I'll get down the garage tomorrow and put a pic on.. they are one of those betamax style classics.. just never caught on...
