Thats what i call value a mbuk mag in 1992 cost £1.95 and in 2007 cost £3.99, £2.04 inflation in 15 years i got computer mags that cost me £6.99 and back then was only £2

i know its a little off topic like but bloody good value :P

as for the Muddy Fox all depends on what side of there demise it fell on if its before they went bust and was bought out it will be a quality bike and probably made it themselves if its after they went bust its probably a pile of poop or as said made by a 3rd party for them

I disagree , never heard of a muddy fox titanium , but they probably did not made it themselves , so Merlin or any other name in the business made it for them so cant be that bad .

VERY unlikely to be merlin, they didnt make much for other companies, the specialized ultimate was their biggest run, the early rock lobsters, 5 tomac raleighs & the 5 proto salsa titaniums.

I couldnt and still cant spell Sandwick :?:  , so used merlin as an example .
what I meant is that it is not a Muddy Fox welder who did it , it had to be done by somebody with experience , so cant be all that bad .

Unlikely to be a Sandvik either. For the right price though probably a decent enough frame!

The offset on the forks looks too large to be USE although the design looks similar in those terrible pictures.

I remember a few guys I raced against in about 1995 having Muddy Fox Titanium frames. I wish the pictures were better bacause I can't see if the graphics look right.

From what I remember them saying they had to go for larger frame sizes than ideal to get a long enough top tube... typical short MF geometry.

I bought one of these frames from Muddy Fox (Universal) about 2 years ago, NOS. ride well got it set up as a singlespeed.

Doesnt ride as well as my Merlin

I remember the Jim'll fix it. Kid wanted to ride a top MTB, muddy fox let him ride the Ti with the Pace Forks, kid got to keep it at the end - result!

On a side note, any one else heard that the Orange Vit T is going to be made again by Linksey?
