This simply means (and bear/ bare with me here) yours is most likely to be the actual limited 'Limited Edition' (with capitals) as opposed to a plain ole' limited edition with gold bits

that other one still looks different to the black crackle & seems the same as the hatfield one just a bit longer so assume a larger frame? the first one is more curved above the wheel and there that distinctive open area by the seat clamp......so ner ner ner with bells on, .... i like eye spy.

Soooo, the Hatfield bike is a later limited edition dressed up with the parts from your limited edition to create a limited limited edition

Prestige...although by its nature it was LTD & they did list an actual LTD ed in the '88 catalogue.,,,,but oddly not the Prestige even though its on the cover.

I think that distinctive wishbone will be just as elusive as the your bike

I seem to remember seeing one of these frames for sale in the USA a while ago.....just the frame though
