It's horses for courses with this one I think.Rarity alone does not mean desirable.

For me this bike is desirable not for its rarity but because of the history of its radical design. This concept was attempting to provide an answer to the problem of suspension bike efficiency before other designers even understood the question.
The idea behind this bike was developed long before this bike was made so this should be a well evolved and sorted design.

Why don't I buy it?
Because for the last 25 years I have been riding Clelands in the Chiltern hills. One good ride of Chiltern quagmire and gunk would do the interactive no good at all, either aestheticaly and mechanicaly. And I believe that bikes are for riding and roads are boring.

I agree,

I don't think quagmire is good for many bikes with a lot of linkages..

Saying that this needs to be ridden off road.. don't get me wrong, I'm not a tarmac jockey.. been riding the brown and grey for 20 years..

It's just that after spending sooo much time building it without marking the frame.. just one of those things.. I've got other bikes I can hammer into the ground anyhooo My Specialized S-works 2005 Epic with Maverick DUC 32 forks keeps that side of my brain happy!

The MF doesn't look dated next to it either!

Well lots of PM's about how much people like it and some cool comments on the threads but it really does have to go.. so will probably be sticking on ebay at the weekend..

Again if there's anyone seriously after this bike, PM me and we can chew the fat on what you have to spend and what I can do for your budget.

Think ebay with worldwide shipping is your best bet. Must admit i'm interested but i'm put off by the lack of availability of spares and the extra maintenance cause by the bushes and suspension.

Best of luck with sale, might also be worth an ad on the German forums/VRC on mtbr.
