I had one of those in early 90's, nice bike, bombproof :) Still got the front wheel & couple of bits.

Rode down to Brighton from my house in Bromley a couple of times on it (train back to Bromley via Victoria  )

I'd be tempted if I didn't have so many other 'projects'.

muddy fox

if it was 18 inches, i'd definitely keep it..seems these couriers only came in one size ...21 inches... it's a real blast from the past.. i first owned the 87 model in 1988 when i was 12..that was a 21 inch frame i could barely get on it...it got stolen outside hove library 20 years ago...

now i have virtually the same model again..but i need to get rid of it so come on you retro people...this has got to be the ultimate english retro mountain bike!!!

well maybe i saw it last w.e locked on madeira drive. 87 courier - 21.5in.

i had a 19.5in 87. loved it. was 16, could only just fit on it.

courier

if i didn't have 14 bikes i would probably put a brooks and some slicks on it and keep it as a retro city ride..it practically has the geometry of a town bike in 21 inches..
