I'm a new member of the above mtb site. And its not a patch as good as here. Its a nightmare to use

Considering that they are based on the same software package I find that remark rather odd, as all the forum features are largely identical.

The one thing I do like about the mtbr forum is that the hover preview function is enabled and hence allows you to read the inital paragraphs of the first post in a thread with having to open it to find its bollocks.

It would be nice if John would enable this on Retrobike to save me having to open a thread to find its garbage ;)

And you gets lots of this:

Let me get this straight...you pirated parts from two other crappy Outposts...to build up one crappy Outpost?

I use Mtbr alot. Its a fantastic source for everything. The problem is that it is very user unfriendly and has SOME unfriendly users.

Perhaps you need thicker skin.

Personal experiences with MTBR are all good, don't go on it that often (due to my OCD with RetroBike) but when I have people have been helpful and nice :D

Also it wont let you choose a passward but gives me a long number (like back in the army)

Its much better to let people choose their own passward. Like here :D

Fo' sho'..

I have a hard enough time trying to keep up with the RB forum that I don't think I'd be able to commit to any others!!

Joined up at Fat Cogs and MTBR but haven't posted in ages :?
