I have a pair of wheels that came off our MTB Cannondale tandem . Frame is 25 years old and i am parting out .
The wheels are top quality Maxi car and Campagnolo hubs built onto Sunn Rhino rims.
Tyres are Nimbus 26 x 1.50 .
I would like to build them into Frame. Cantilever brake etc .
Which retro mtb would work out .
Rear is 130 spacing .

TA in advance.

130mm in a yr 2000 Tandem?

Seems odd to me.
Would expect 135mm

If 135mm, pick almost any bike from around 1990 to 1996 and quite a few from either side of that.

130mm and it generally 80s MTB, but not all
A few possibly in the turn of the 90s.

As for the title, was that a question too.

24", 26", 650b/27.5, 700c/29er
24" being generally obscure or infant child MTB bikes, and then also some even more obscure ones to. (20" for even younger child MTBs)

I was working from memory with regards the spacing of the rear hub . I will check tomorrow .
I was interested generally in how many mtb wheel sizes there have been over the years.
My first along time Back was a Saracen then an M tracs ?[ Raleigh ].
Last was a Cannondale 400 ? about 18 years ago which i up graded with hope disc brakes .
Used mainly for touring as it could go anywhere .

Looking to build up a rough stuff machine from what i have to hand.
Just need the big bit .
