Just wondered if anyone could put me in touch, or recommend, someone who helps with cycling coaching? I'm looking at trying to step up my training but don't want to do anything counter productive so want some professional (or professional-ish) advice. Wanting to look at the nutrition side and planning workouts.

Anyone had any programmes wrote up for them? Someone mentioned there was a guy on eBay doing programmes for £10 a month, but can't seem to find anything.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

You could try asking the nearest Uni as they the sports science students have to do these for thier course work and it'll be free.
It's all approved by the tutor before it passed on so it does come from a reliable scource.
Failing that find the nearest club as they sometimes have coaches and former professionals who can point you in the right direction.
Good luck.

Best training is to find a really fit woman in tight lycra then try to keep up going uphill.

Thanks for the replies. I've bought one of the personalised training programmes off Ebay to see how I get on with that. For £10 it's worth a try for a few weeks. Seller is called Dave and works for Dolphin Fitness.

Will have a look at the link at lunch :)

my mate is doing his masters in just such a thing at the mo. can pass on his details if you like? he will be doing some work with the us olympic cycling team (traitor) this summer so is pretty good.

Mate of mine at work is uber fit and does Iron Man type stuff and lot's of cycling. He set up a blog about nutrition etc so will see if I can find it for you.

Possibly out of your way, but I've used these guys www.mb7.com for 1-1 coaching at Glentress. Superb, and picked up about 5 bad habits in my riding style in an hours coaching session. Totally transformed the way I ride.
