MT63 What year and model ? ..

Hi all , i've got some BL-MT63 brake levers which i was given by another member last year and he's no longer on so i can't ask him and tbh i didn't know i had these levers with the shifters he gave as i just stored them away until i was ready :facepalm: .

Any way any info would be really appreciated ..

Think they're just early 90's DX ones mate, match up with Deore thumbies. Silver levers, black body right?

Thanks brocklanders and i should of said that their black levers and bodies and look like canti levers brakes to me due to the lever pivot being pretty close to the lever so i wasn't sure wether they were 80s or early 90s ..

Thanks alot brocklanders as i'd been searching for ages and was finding mixed information to what they were such as 500LX ,Deore 2, Deore XT , DX2s so that clears things up nicely and mine have also got the optional lever rubbers so these will go nicely with my SLR cantis ..
