MS Racing CR-1

Picked up a very clean and original MSR CR-1 - many thanks Dave and Chris in Cumbria (for not riding it!) - an interesting composite framed (alu front triangle, steel lugs into steel rear stays) beauty that screams both late 80's/early 90s and 'Alpinestars' - funny that!

Looking to discover more about the apparent MSR begot Alpinestars story so feel free to add your tuppenceworth...

that looks a damn sight better condition than my MS racing... tho mines down quite a few thousand more miles by the looks of it...

check out the distributed address on that advert... there used to be loads of them at the welsh series racing.

Yep, I love them. A common (in a positive way) race bike. I had the deal done on that subject to the size...too big for me tho.

I remember the stems on these bikes having a neat little cable stop/cam to boost the front brake.
