MOV to DVD - any good (free) software to use?

Simple to burn as data (ie MOV files on a DVD disk as data)? Then imgburn for all your burning needs...

To convert to playable DVD-Video disk? Then The FilmMachine I use both, a lot...

I used to convert 1gb avi / mov files to DVD a lot using "AVS4you" (IIRC), it would convert any format to any format. Took 20 minutes to convert and burn and it was good, this was 4 years ago though, don't know if anything better is about now.
