Mountain Goat WTR

Here, after a stupidly prolonged build cos I just couldn't get my arse into gear, is the Goat I have now had for some time.

Almost finished it a couple of weeks ago, but was not happy with the paral;ax XT rear hub. Looked fine in shiny silver, but just didn't fit the build.

Cue the DD.
Happy now, and think it offsets the front end nicely.

Only thing left not in the pic are a pair of 747 SPD that are being cleaned up.

I actually managed to get that F'in Pauls to shift OK aswell - 7sp thumbies and cassette, 8 sp chain, custom play fettled and shimmed jocky wheels, careful b-tension adjustment.

Bars are Titec, Seatpost USE ti.

Campag headset NOS (OK, maybe not 100% correct, but right look )

Oh, and as I will actually ride this - Lock on grips. I hate that motorbike feel

Nice............................very nice - the only thing I would change is the tioga disc, Not my thang but then - I have never ridden with one (or in fact seen one in the flesh).
