i have just got a mountain cycle san andreas r-series frame in a job lot of bits and am looking at selling it but have no idea on price/value...
the main frame and seat subframe are in very good condition, the swingarm(canti only) has seen better days, its been welded profesionally by a previous owner(i know the welding is of a high standard because i am an engineer). otherwise very sound, even has the original fox 150mm eye to eye shock which is like new!
any advice on pricing would be great, pics to follow when i find my camera
many thanks

seeing as you paid £53 for the joblot from eBay thats what its worth?

lol i guess you were bidding on it as well! i was trying to find out what a repaired one was worth, this seemed like a sensible place to find out,but it would appear i may have been wrong... i already own a dhs san andreas and a 95' marin indian fire trail, both which are in mint condition.i know what i paid for them and it was a lot more than £53!
however i don't know what this particular one is worth and was looking for some help from people that know their stuff.
really didn't want my 1st thread on here to slide into negativity :(

Hi, like the name by the way

As you will have noticed this lot in here, myself included would have seen what you actually paid for these. No problem making a profit but always harder when potential buyers know what you paid for it

when you decide what parts you want to sell.... the rules in here are that all sales must have a price or the advert gets locked

if your unsure of the price then we normally refer those people to a thread for best guestimates but...it is difficult to give those guestimates without pictures as with most collectables condition is the key

so once you have pictures and a price then fire away and if still unsure then try this that might help

sorry my mistake,i've just fully read all the rules and i'm sorry if i posted in the wrong place! please forgive a newbies mistake.
if an admin would like to close this thread that would be great and i will repost in the correct section.
