OK people,im new on here,been out of the bike scene for a while,left school,got a driving license then sold my bikes to insure some cars! Want to get back into it now after 15yrs,looking for a san andreas,remember them from yrs ago and really fancy one now,let me know what u have!I am interested in frames,F+F,partly stripped/built bike,anything!

I am no expert but the price seems pretty good. After all, XTR 900 cranks and mech and some Pace forks are installed. The frame looks as if it has been repainted, though. To ring him up call +49 1723649003 oder click on "Anbieter kontakieren" to drop him a line.

It’s the 2nd generation as it has the 1st frame set up (elbow mech post) and 2nd swinging arm clamping mechanism. It has a helux rear air shock, which was a common replacement back in the day and very temperamental. Could be nice though, full strip down paint and polish.

So what yr do u think its from? Dont know much about them but I was looking at it,the repaint looks terrible,but could probably scrub up ok with a full strip and repaint. Dont know if the guy knows much about selling. a bike because he has 3x pics of the rear mech!.what sort of changes did they do to them through the years? Ive seen the more modern ones and the obvious changes are a different more rounded subframe compared to the earlier ones,basically is there much difference to an early one and say a late 90's one? How much would a decent rear shock cost?
