Mountain cycle san andreas....Bristol

The photo isn't exactly square-on but you're right. I grabbed the pic, straightened it up then measured the angle down the fork and got 74.4° :shock:

The seller does state "the shock is also moveable so you can slacken the head angle", so that's a relief :lol:
 
Looks like the shock is too long (certainly for the position its mounted in). moving it forward would solve it, but.. the piggyback reservoir will prevent this sot he shock will have to be turned round back to front (if it will fit and not foul on the seatpost mast)
 
Looking at it again, the BB seems to be sitting about 3" above the axles at rest, wouldn't that make it about 15" BB height before sag? :?

15" b/b is about right! they are tall old beasts but dont fell it when ridden. that one still looks wrong to me,not sure why.
 
you have to remember depending on the age of the frame it would have been built with a shock that was probably 1.5 stroke and 180mm ish long.
if it has a longer modern shock that will push the swingarm down
and as said the piggyback would not let the shock move to a better position.
