Re:
It's whatever people are prepared to pay, but even though it looks to be in mint condition it's not a bike that would really arouse much interest here...
You've not said much about it apart from the name, condition and year. Might be a good idea getting to know your audience a bit... a lot of the people here are bike geeks, obsessives, to the last nut and bolt...
People want to know size measurements, spec, frame material, ANY damage, originality; photos of different parts close up, of both sides, a bit of history etc...and maybe not an ad that looks like someone is trying to knock-out something they're struggling to shift in a shop...at top dollar..it looks cynical.
Not wanting to upset you Maverick, but the more effort you make the more interest you'll get. If you list something as a 'Mountain bike' in the Mountain bike section of a cycling forum you're probably not going to get much interest.
A lot of the people on this forum are very very knowledgeable about older bikes and the market for them, and will give you an honest opinion of what they think it's worth - you have to understand that doesn't mean they'll buy it from you. If you want to have it valued post on that part of the forum...
Otherwise you might want to take BoyBurning's advice...
(Btw you posted an ad for a 98 bike in the pre 97 section...) ✌ peace.
