Affordable bikes?! the cheapest one on their website was 300 quid?! for a basic womans dutch style bike?

i could buy myself about 10 second hand womens bikes for that money and i know those are built to last because they have lasted at least 20 years already!

I think Freddies gonna be a bachelor and the MIL2B is robobitch myself, its a shame really its the sort of thing that can never be forgot, and regardless of how much they love each other the family loyalty thing is gonna get in the way.

I think his mum should have known enough to keep her mouth shut

nah the old witch isn't as rich as she's making out, thats why its such an issue about the wedding...she is about to be exposed for the fraud she is, probably in huge debt with a stock pile of crap bikes she can't shift and spiraling overheads. Well one can only hope.

In fairness a lot of the things she wrote in her email were correct, but theres a way of going about things...the polite way would be to say nothing, bite her tongue and perhaps have a quiet word in her sons ear to have a word with his fiance.

The other option was to confront her about it, but make sure none of it is written down, because years from now its all there for everyone to look back over.

No evidence = no crime...if it had been verbal the DIL could have claimed the MIL is a horrible witch, but the MIL would have come out of it smelling of roses because its her word against DIL.
