Indeed. I value this forum because I think everyone is generally more clued up than on Bikeradar/Singletrack World etc, but I'm not a hardened retro purist - my daily commuter is a lovely retro but my weekend riding-off-things machine is a modern. I don't think that there's any harm in having some modern stuff pop up for sale. In fact, I think it's good that there are some of us riding moderns too; it means that as a forum, we really are appreciating what's good about retrobikes even when compared to modern stuff, not just liking anything that's retro for the sake of it.
