in ten years of selling some reasonably high value electronics and never offering any warranty, this is the first time anyone has ever questioned my sales.

I sold a Land Rover the other day, and despite the fact it was a total bargain and I stated very near offers only I had a tool come round, waste half an hour of my time, and make an offer that was around half the price I accepted from the third test driver. I told him he was a total time waster and send him packing.

Why oh why do some people refuse to believe your advertisement, and think you will put up with sheer cheek?

Back when I used to trade old cameras I dealt with a number of total bell ends who wanted to argue the toss over minute issues with lenses and such that all came under the description I have given of 'usual signs of use'.
