Something new everyday from the online jumble sale that is ebay.

Listed someting on the 14th, Buy it now, or best offer (with auto accept/decline  ) couple of hours pass and then all of a sudden the item has sold............ to a buyer with zero feedback   So I look at their account and they joined that very day..

I knew something was fishier than a trawlerman's underclangers when they hadn't paid by this morning......  so thought I'd look at the sale again........ 'No longer a registered member'.......  :x :x

Jeeez, 48hrs in the ebay game and a £13 transaction has caused them so much stress that they had to resign their membership from eGay before the second sunset on their account.

Listing and final value fees have already been reimbursed and the item has just now been relisted.

When will the few stop spoiling for the many, on ebay.......... :?: :?:

That is all........................

whenever i list a BIN i use the imediate payment option, saves being messed around, but having best offer you can't do that, Ebay is getting worse though

I always have immediate payment on my BuyitNow's, but I always add the option of best offer incase I've overpriced something..

It's definitely getting worse, people trying to f*** you over, at every opportunity, but this incident was just totally weird.

Paranoia would say that they joined JUST to f*** me up, but luckily I don't suffer from that  :D

 Ebay can be a right pain in the A@@@@ especially if its a high value item.

Sold a ps3 last chrimbo, it took five atempts due to no payers

Well, you were forced to read the sun for a while.

Must admit I've stopped selling on there unless I really have to. Prefer to keep dropping the prices on here until someone bites. Much less of an a*se pain. Have a couple of R/C buggies that do have to go on there soon but just can't bring myself to be bothered to do it due to idiots in the past (and the very naughty fees  ).

Saying that.... Bought quite a few bits from ebay recently and all so far have been top notch. Neon yellow taperlite incoming so hope that follows the trend.

set up your selling preferences on the account tab and you can block loads of people from bidding that u dont want...simple.

With newly registered eBayers, it can be hard work.

Sold my car to a 'zero' bayer and after several mails and opening a non-paying bidder dispute, he eventually came around and got it. Still, I must agree that there should be tighter controls.
