More 80's. 1988 Team Stumpjumper revamp.

Here's my Team Stumpy in its latest get up. Bought it in 1989; it's been on the move ever since.

Yup - it's a Melvin. It's a marvellous, well thought-out little device that allows me to run a 3 x 1 set up with 20 teeth difference between the large and small chain rings.

I have an 86 with a U-brake that could use the SS treatment myself. Nice bike.

Forgive me for saying this but your Stumpy looks older than 88. I'd say 86, the seat stays are too straight for an 88.
