Mongoose Amplifier full build

I had previously completed complete rebuilds on a few roadies, but seeing as how I am really an off road guy these days, I wanted to find an old mtb to restore.
This Amp/Mongoose showed up in the local classifieds last fall and I grabbed it quick. Frame and fork, never built, in storage for the last 20+ years.
Will be a bit before I locate all the necessary bits, but its slowly coming together.
I will try and document the build as it progresses.

Control tech 130 5° stem
Xtr m900 drive train

Still looking for some appropriate bars, having a hard time finding 25.4’s in anything over 580mm

Lol - that’s what great a out this place, I’m sitting on the fence about the bold electric blue and keen to see this built and see which way I go

Lovely frame and forks BTW and cranks, brakes etc are spot on

The blue might clash with the red outline of the decals... But it's looking good anyway, lots of polishing been done there!
