Greetings!
Ages ago I was the buyer for the USA manufacturing division of a major bicycle company and I have a few relics collecting dust that I am considering getting rid of...partly because I could use some extra but mostly because I would rather have someone enjoy some of these toys instead of having them hang in my garage. At the moment the bike I am most interested in selling is a Mountain Cycle 'Moho' that was setup for dual slalom and raced by a friend that was a factory rider for AC (Adventure Components) and Mountain Cycle.
This Moho was almost certainly from the first production run and its mostly complete, needs a seat, grips, and some TLC, but all of the components are in good shape. It has Magura hydraulic brakes, Mavic 217 SUP hoops (need to verify, been a while since I looked at it) with USA made GT hubs. I also have a set of wheels with AC hubs but I think one of the hub flanges was broken during a move to a new home years ago. The bars are Answer, stem is Kore, pedals are Shimano 747. It has some XT cranks with a large chain ring and only a rear derailer...and not a fancy one, wasn't important for its intended use. Forks are Answer/Manitou 'Mach 5' that should have SpeedSprings and a different damping cartridge. It also has GripShift since they were a sponsor at the time. Argh. Hated that stuff.
I can get some detailed pics later but here is one I just snapped. As a bonus this bike has vintage dirt from the last event it was raced in

So..whats something like this worth these days?
I am thinking about listing it locally for a quick sale but if any of you are interested and in the So Cal area feel free to hit me up via PM. Thanks for any information. Pretty cool to see that people still appreciate the work that was being done back then...I have some pretty good stories about designing and manufacturing high end bikes during that era that I might have to share at some point.
