I've owned it for just over a year (14months to be exact) and its been used for general xc rides in teh Bristol area. There are a coupel of stone chips to the paint, one on the down tube and one on the seat tube (pics can be supplied if required). I've used it in various guises, from ridged, to 27sp hard tail to its current set up at 1x9 and its performed faultlessly. Head set is included which is a Ritchey WCS (12months old).

What is top tube c2c effective, please? And when you ran it rigid, what forks/axle to crown length did you fit?

Your xacd venture looks exciting! I've read of quite a few purchases from them (well favoured by the fixed gang - one of the few economically sane ways of obtaining a Ti frame with the right drop outs and built for distance rather than racing) and never of any problems - as long as the drawings are RIGHT!

I corresponded with the guy there when considering such a purchase about 6 years ago when they were less well known here - and he was really helpful.

The fork was an exotic carbon with 44.5 axel / crown:

As for efective top tube c/c length, i've just measured it in the dark at 570mm (with a peice of string as i couldnt find a tape in the shed), but i'll double check in the am for you. supprisingly its not something i've checked for the new frame

good to hear youve heard good things form Xacd as well.

re measured this morning, with a tape measure this time, top tube length is 540mm effective top ptube length is 560mm.

also taken some close ups of the chips:

seat tube - the small black marks are from the rubber on my roof mounted bike carrier, but i'll clean them off prior to sending.

There is also some paint flaking from the head tube where the head set meets, this was done by my local bike shop when teh fitted the new head set a year ago again not structural:
