That takes me back! I used to have Campag bullet shifters (that's what my mate who sold me the bike told me they were called anyway!) along with a campag rear mech. This was in about 1990. They were the reason why I use gripshift now rather than levers on my newer bikes as I just got used to the action... although it was disconcerting when you'd go down a steep hill, brake, and your hand would rotate the whole grip and you'd go into all sorts of wrong gears!!
