Do you have any idea of the frame weight?

Hmm... hard to say, as I am not really into the weight thing. At least we can be sure that it is sub 2kg material.

I happen to know that the original fork, the bombproof bonded alu FatMax, weighs 745gr... but it looks like the fork is not included in the auction.

I am the seller of this frame, I guess I did not appreciate what a nice bike looking bike it is once built up. I wiped the dust off the frame and added some more photos last night. The frame does look better in person than it does in the photos, the flash make the finish look more beat up than it really is. I am quite suprised by the number of hits and watchers of the auction.

You guys are making me think I should just keep it. I never got it built up enough to ride. Is it a nice riding bike?

The reason I am selling is because I bought a never ridden early 90's Curtlo with XTR and Action Tec fork last year. It was one of the top racing bikes here in Southern California to have back in the late 80's and early 90's. I had a couple sponsored racer friends that had them and I had always wanted one but could never afford one; I think the frame alone was about $1500.00 back then.

I am quite suprised by the number of hits and watchers of the auction.

Just an FYI - I recently discovered that a number of snipe programs add to the hit count every time they refresh their auction list. As a result the hit count goes through the roof, but the hits are mostly coming from a couple of snipers.
