I had never noticed before, but the driveside chainstay is profiled to act as an anti-chainsuck plate!

Very interesting - I'd imagine HB might have had a hand in that to do away with needing to use a Ringle one?!

Yes, the teeth and other machining on the BB lug was typical for the 1991MY. An attempt to weight saving in the 1st place me thinks, one year before a completely new and really light bonded frame made its appearance.
