These shifters are actually the "best bung for buck" type ones with:
-Alloy internal mechanics
-NON-escape version, sweeps through the entire cassette towards the maller cogs, and can shift up three cogs at a time
-the left shifter has tons of clicks to be either use with double or triple chainsets, and allows you to fine-tune the derailleur cage&trim infinitely.
-the internals can be re-newed and even upgraded to ten speed...
