Hi folks,
Up for sale is my 20” 1993 titanium/porsche green Kona Explosif in complete catalogue spec (see text above catalogue pic). Excellent, mintish condition, bought last fall off original owner who had almost never taken it off road(!). Almost no scratches, one miniscule dent in the top tube, barely visible. Some superficial chain-suck.
Rides really, really nicely, great spring in the prestige tubes. Seat tube 20” (50,8 cm) c-t and top tube 23-23,5" (59,5 cm) c-c. Top tube is actually same length as a sus corrected 1994 onwards 19" Kona, so you don't need to be very tall for this bike. I'm a little under 6'2" (187 cm), and it suits me great, although I think everything from 5'11" to 6'3" would be good. A shorter 130 mm Velocity stem will also come along.
Asking £420 shipped(!) to the UK, insured and well packed (was £480). The bike really is in immaculate condition.
Specs:
Frame: 20” (c-t) custom Tange Prestige tube-set, Ultimate Ultralight top/down, externally-fluted 'oversize' down tube, externally oval-butted seat tube, Concept seat tube/stays (same tube mix as the 1992 Kona Hot)
