Milremo chainrings?

Hi everyone,

Hope one of you knowledgable gurus can help me out (again)! I'm about to put these on eBay, so trying to find some info out about them.

As the photo shows, while I know these are Milremo cranks, do you know if they are Milremo chainrings as well? I'm presuming they are, since they are made in France as well.

There is possibly what seems to be a manufacturers mark on the chainring, but this is pretty worn out.

Previous owner of the bike they came off doesn't know any history about the bike.

The chainrings are 52 / 32, which seems a strange combination really.

Milremo = Milan San Remo , the name that Ron Kitching used for the stuff he had made for him to sell.

Chainrings look like TA, another brand that he imported.

Is that your Ron Kit book jm?

Milremo branded stuff was usually quite nice...........stems, rims and the like. The Milremo bar end plugs were on most bikes back then

Saleable? It depends on who is looking on eBay when you list them. The rings are for touring with that small inner ring, the ring looks too small to be the stoker (rear) rider of a tandem.

These seem to have the TA logo on the big ring just before 6 o'clock.

The Ron Kitchen auto biography "Awheel in Two Worlds" is well worth reading. Both from a business and a racing point of view.

One surprising thing is that he says he sold 2 million Milremo stems!
