Retro Guru
custom frame. not for me. anyways; i have this frame for 12 yrs and learned how to ride technical trails on her.
chainstays are 17.5, bb is 12.5in tall. top tube is 22.25. seat tube is 19 c-t.
tube set is prestige concept. painted by D+D cycles in cali.
rebuilt her w/ a vicious cycles fork and on one midge fork.
it's the most balanced bike i ever had and i have both an ibis mojo and a fat chance wicked!
it's a singlespeed: no shifters. i have to take out all the reast of gears and derr. as soon as i get miself a tensioner and spacers.

Are your brake levers on the right way round?
I always though the wavy bits were meant for the finger side of the lever not the palm side if you catch my drift.

i set dirt drops totally different from road bars. brake levers as low as possible. i stay on the drops ALL the time. i have one finger braking w/ cantis. it feels great. much more control and speed on technical terrain than flat or riser bars.
you have to set the drop bars high. mine are still low. i want the top of bars higher than seat.
looks freaky but when i tried on a familiar chute i was amazed at the control i had.
