After much consideration, but still reluctantly, I have decided to let my 1992 Kirk Revolution DX go (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=123056). I really need to free up some space and funds for my current projects. Taking the pictures really made me doubt again as I so much like a lot of the parts, but somehow I never bonded with the bike. Most parts are near NOS and as I have riden it only a few times, all parts are in very good condition. I understand that people would want me to split; I have already done so.
If the prices are rediculous, please let me know. The same for more or other pictures. Prices are in pounds and exclude postage. I am from The Netherlands, so keep that in mind. Ok, here we go:
First up is the frame. Although I did not use it, it comes with the original fork. I have also included the stem and handlebar I got with it, although I am not sure if these are original. Frame also includes special LX front derailleur. Frame is in good condition, but shows some minor spots with corrosion, still under the lacquer. Fork is a bit scuffed but surely saveable, chrome stem and bar are pitted.
Total for 75 pounds. *SOLD*
Next is the Pace RC30 fork. Pretty good condition, only some slight pitting near the brake bosses (see pictures in original thread). 1 1/8 steerer of 210mm length. Crown to axle is 390mm. 75 pounds. *SOLD*
Onza Mongo III headset in ano blue. 1 1/8 with only some minor scuffs. 12 pounds. *SOLD*
Titec stem. Some small scuffs. Some (?) degrees rise, 140mm length and for normal bar. 10 pounds
Tioga cantilever cable thingy. 3 pounds.
Polished riser handlebar. 6 degrees sweep and 600mm wide. Picture shows stains, but that is condense from getting the stuff from the very cold shed to the house. 7 pounds.
Suntour XC Pro brake levers in ano Champagne. As close to NOS as possible. 20 pounds. *SOLD*
Ringle Evolution seatpost. Some small scuffs. 27.0mm and 340mm long. 15 pounds. *SOLD*
Blue ano seat clamp. 34.8mm. 2 pounds.
White Charge Spoon CrMo Saddle. Looks new. 15 pounds. *SOLD*
USE Spin stix. 15 pounds *SOLD*
Shimano Saint/SLX/LX 9 speed cassette HG-80. 11-34t Only used a few rides. 20 pounds
XTR rear derailleur M952. Very nice condition, only one crack in rubber (see picture). 30 pounds. *SOLD*
XTR shifters M952. I used them without indicators, but are present. Hole is now covered with carbon plate. 45 pounds. *SOLD*
Suntour XC Pro brake set in Champagne. Includes original hangers, brake shoes and key. 40 pounds. *SOLD*
Topline SLS cranks. Have probably been ano purple, as can be seen in the pedal threads. Has a single 34t blade on it. Don't know the brand, but looks very good. Includes blue ano BMX bolts. Sorry, no crankbolt caps. Cranks have no deep scratches, just some light polishing and they look perfect. Spider looks good too. Now the down side. Someone has grinded a small part out of the back. My guess is to make room for a front derailleur. I don´t think it compromises strength, but still. I never worried about it. 30 pounds. *SOLD*
Middelburn wheelset with Mavic 117 SUP Ceramic rims. Hubs are in super condition, very smooth. Rims in good condition, rear one has most brake surface wear. There is not really much wear on the surface, but the brake blocks have been of a little, creating a tiny line on the inner radius (side with spoke plane interface) of no coating. This is alu colour and is therefore visible as a result of the contrast with the antraciet coating. Absolutely straight and no knicks in the spokes or anything. Really sorry to let these go! 125 pounds.
