middleburn cranks

No-ish. Everything up to and including RS6 cranks were machined and not the ( stronger ) RS7 cold forged ones. Okay-ish if you're light but AVOID ( I snapped an RS1 and an RS3 set ) if you're a tubby munter.

By the way, the crack usually starts inboard on the corner of the square taper hole.

What he says...I had cracked RS3's recently...would only buy RS7's if I was in the market for middleburns ('cause I'm a tubby munter)
