Middleburn cranks

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has any more info on the cranks I have on my Chameleon, Middleburn RS-HD, or RS-DH.

I think they're a beefed up version of a normal crank, with less material cut away.

I haven't seen many sets, though one_eyed_jim has a pair.

What's also more confusing is that on the drive side they're stamped RS-HD, and on the non-drive side it says RS-DH.

Which is it? Is that a manufacturing mistake? Does it mean they're worth millions like the 20p's without the date on?

looking at the crank end and the 5 arm spider could it be an interim before the rs7 ?

does the spider attach with bolts or a lockring ?

It's attached with 4 small grubs screws at the rear... I bought them back around '96 - '97 if that helps any?
