I had two sets of these wheels built for me by Bromley Bike (importers of Ringle/Yeti etc) in the mid to late 1990s. One pair I rode to destruction over about ten years whilst this set sat in the loft. My wife used them a bit on her bike but they've only done about 100 miles and so are in excellent condition.
I can't remember which model hub they are but they are unmarked and the bearings are buttery smooth. They're built on to Sun Zero Degree Lite rims - which are light and strong, via 32 DT Swiss spokes. The rims are marked from braking and have only very light wear.
All in, they're a strong, light set of super-retro wheels.
I'm asking £95 for them. SOLD
I have a nice 7 speed silver Sachs screw on freewheel which is available for £20 on its own or for £10 with the wheels. SOLD
Thanks
Rich
