mid 90s cannondale cranks/rings

hi all. a quick one, which someone will probably put to bed very easily.
i have a '97 F900 i'm building up and it has the OE 175mm cranks (300M, I think).
bolt to bolt is just over 55m, so BCD should be 94.

original ratio was I think 22/32/42.

will a set of Race Face 5 bolt rings do the job? i've been told i cannot get less than a 29T on the granny with a 94BCD, but it LOOKS like RF do actually do a 20T 94BCD.

so - will a 22/32/42 be the best balance of climbing & top end? i'll be riding trail/XC, nothing too gnarly. running with a 9spd M750 XT group.

i think BBB do a 22 or 24 granny. the race face rings should fit as i am running suntour microdrive outer and middle rings and a buzzsaw granny on my turbine cranks. as long as the BCD is correct you should be able to mix 'n' match rings to your hearts content.

you'll be fine with the 22 granny, i have run a 20, its great for really steep and gnarly stuff (and if your absolutly knackered!) but overkill if thats not your thing
