The time has come to acknowledge that i prefer road bikes and big wheels so it's time to find a good home for my mountain bike.
It's a mid 80's Raleigh Maverick (nice lugged frame) and comes with the bullmoose bars you see in the picture.
Frame is very solid but has some surface rust. The original paint was flaking off so last winter i stripped it down to bare metal and had a clear lacquer applied; unfortunately the lacquer has started to flake off and some rust has appeared so a new paid job will be required.

The wheels (off a '93 Hardrock, not up to much)
Three sets of tyres - Specialized slicks (1.5"), Specialized Crossroads (from the old Hardrock), Bontrager Cruizer 2.25" (in the photo). Slicks & Bontragers have had very little use.
