here is my muddy fox mahyem, as you can see its not your usual toysrus jobbie, its a (probably generic) alu frame with wavey stays (hence generic) research tells me its around mid 2000's. I fitted a new mech hanger and all the components you see on it which include:
marzocchi bombers mxc? air/oil (new oil seals are good and they have 60 psi in them which hold my 13 stone admirably. the lowers are scratched but the stanchions are just fine.
deore running gear, all 9 speed new cassette and chain (front mech is a new alivio)
new cables (lined)
mavic x319? disc specific on deore hubs
avid elixir 1 disc brakes with bleed kit and freshly bled in excellent condition.
specialized stem and ea50 bars
new headset (halfords jobbie)
bb is a shimano 52 in fully working order
size is 18 or 19 i think i will measure it properly.
yes i know muddy fox isnt highly regarded due to their associations with bso toysrus but looking past the stickers its a very capable light xc frame easily in the carrera/low end gt/ voodoo you can see where im going with this, market (you know the 4-500 quid halfords department that we all look at and go actually thats not bad.)
so price??? well forum rules state one must be present so £180 collected or I am willing to box it up and have it ready for the courier that you arrange to collect it
I'm not adverse to trades for that fsr/lts/full susser from the 90's that you have knocking around either
