i'm guessing like most things rb..there is a mystique around owning some but rarely match up to the myth

on the right bike though..they look pretty :lol:
 
Wildslippers, fantastic :D I still remember my worst ever crash trying to turn a fairly innocent corner and then finding myself and my bike alternate sides of the trail, needless to say it was shod with wildslippers!
 
I remember their slippery image as well, but I also remember seeing photos of the starts of World Cup races with the majority of the field sporting green Wildgripper Sprints.

Obviously the Sprints must have been very good for dry hardpack, but the knobbly version wasn't quite knobbly enough for mid-winter.
