You used to be able to get on free, but now a member has to invite you.

Spotify is great, like havin a (really, really f**kin') huge itunes collection but you don't have to pay to listen to the music (you do get adverts now and again), shame you need to be invited these days.

Sounds good. How do you get invited? Is the music downloadable?

You can apply for an invite or find someone with a premium account who can invite you. You use it just like an on demand music service making playlists or downloading the tracklist, if you want to be able to download the tracks you have to buy it though.
