Retrobike Rider

Bought this bike on ebay as I just liked the look of it, but unfortunately it was just too big for me. A friend of mine wanted a cheap bike for canal path riding and occasional riding to work, but he wanted front sus because of the poor state of roads around here.
I had a cheap but virtually unused SR Suntour fork reclaimed from the dump so I fitted that on together with old v-brakes.
I know it looks a bit of a dog's breakfast but it rides really well and my pal is very pleased with it. It keeps an old bike from the scrapyard and introduces someone else to (sort of) retrobiking for less than £40.
It also means that I have a yellow rigid fork and stem from a 93 MF that will soon be going very cheap on the for sale forum.
