There should really be a Winter celebration on the 21st of December. That way we can celebrate the winter solstice and the fact that days will be shorter from then on

some people see it as a religious holiday, others as a cultural holiday, and some as no holiday at all, though they are thankful for the time off.

doubt anyone is going to change their views here. we can agree to disagree, therefore, no debate
