 wow, that's gonna look some bike when it's made up!
Thank you feller, red ringle stem on tonight see how it looks, waiting on post mount ,,second attempt,  have start looking a tyres these ain't got tubes ,, more head aches I'm sure

Tubeless are a piece of cake. You will need two tubeless valves (don't think I supplied those did I?), some tyre sealant...ideally tubeless specific tyres and some soapy water.

I will never go back to inner tubes

Soapy water is it a dirty job then!!!!! no unfortunately all the goodies you gave me no valves,,,what tyres do you surges I'm thinking something with a red sidewall or coloured band.... :?

Re:

Mmm...I personally am not keen on coloured tyres particularly on a Merlin. This is a Bentley, it doesn't need gauche colours ;-)

Well retrobiker came great again got fantastic set sid team forks looks like just came out box, do I rip the manitou off and slip these onto her or stay 2003 ish.. May be easier to get front calliper mounted also ,, not sure not measured yet.
Thanks again Carl and phil for help.

Well thought IDE stick gear cables on as front mount has moved to back burner for while, hopefully tyres turn up early next week and I after watching many u tube video will attempt to fit my first ever set tubeless tyres. Back to fitting cables spent best part hour today on all fours looking for small screw from sti unit that I dropped  success came in the way of fitting the chain, no snapping small black pins or farting around with a tool came with fancy joiner plates..
She may be a rider soon but I'm not going to hold me breath.

aaa well looks like tyres came when i was out  why cant leave with neighbour ive no idea. was looking forwards to having a crack at those tonight, anyhow looks like im a real steel owner now, havnt rode a steel bike since my bomber,  ive joined the orange club all things going well.. 8)

Very nice :). That M960 XTR always looks amazing on Ti bikes, I've got the same group on my Hei Hei and love it.

Look forward to seeing the finished build!
