i am after swaping my 1996 16,25" merlin extralight for a bigger 18" extralight, xlm or fat ti and i thought it was almost imposible... so this gives me hope!!

For any of you with a paunchant for road-riding - I may be selling my 'matching' classic Merlin road bike yet with full Dura Ace 9-speed group, around 57cm frame (suit most 5'9-6' tall) - I will ride it again at the weekend (see how my back holds out) and if it causes pain, which I expect it will, I'll list it in the road section next week.
